Hello Freedom Elementary Parents!
My name is Brooke Stinson and I am your child’s Principal. We are very excited for our second year at Freedom Elementary. I believe that our school has the hardest working, most dedicated staff in the state of Kentucky. We want to learn from you! So please join us at school to see the amazing things happening at Freedom.
I am entering my 19th year in education! After graduating from the University of Kentucky with my Bachelors in Elementary Education, I completed my first masters at Georgetown College in Early Elementary Education then received my second Masters from Murray State in Educational Leadership. I have my National Board Certification and am continuing my work as a Doctoral Student at the University of Kentucky. My husband is also a teacher and we have two children.
Freedom Elementary is a Leader in Me school. This means that a lot of the learning that your child will do this year and beyond will be centered around the “7 Habits of Highly Effective Kids.” We will be sharing with you these habits over the next few months.
Habit 6: Synergize- Together is Better! I want to encourage you to join our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). If you are interested, please let me know. You can contact me at school, 887-7150 or email me email@example.com. This is such an important partnership of our school.
Habit 3: Put First Things First- “Work First, Then Play.” I have some homework for you. Please write an email or letter that describes your child. Include anything that you would like me to know about your child, his/her needs, your goals, etc. If there is anything you would rather share or ask me in person, we can certainly set up a time in the first few weeks of school.
Stay in the “know!” Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, sign up for Remind messages (text @feseagles to 81010, and our school website.
